Recipe: Gomasio

Ingredients:

1 tsp Salt
15 tsps Whole sesame seeds

 

Method:

Wash sesame seeds in a strainer

Dry roast sesame seeds in a pan until they fall off the back of a spoon, make sure you stir occasionally so they don't burn

add the salt at the end and roast for a few more min

Grind in a blender or in a suribachi

 

Mineral rich and great for sprinkling on top of salads and grains for flavor.
