Recipe: Deliciously dark date balls

Ingredients

3 cups sunflower seeds
120g raw cocoa
500g pitted medjool dates
pinch sea salt

Method
Blend the sunflower seeds until very fine
Add the salt and cocoa into the blender until well mixed
Add the dates and blend until the mixture clumps together as a dough in the blender
Roll into balls and refrigerate

To make it interesting you can add some orange rind, rum, coffee, lemon, chilli or anything else you fancy when blending the sunflower seeds and cocoa.

These keep well for at least a week if not more.
